  • Surreal landscapes on the southern edge of the UK. It’s a rather scary experience standing next to a 160m cliff while strong winds almost sweep you off your feet.

  • They call me a B I T C H
I CALL IT #ADVOCATING

I really love presenting with a sense of humor. I have been attending #medical #conferences since my 20’s and have fallen asleep in far too many.
This was several weeks ago presenting for a bio science firm that has for 80 years been the largest plasma producers. Five years ago they acquired the Diagnostics division from Novartis and have become the most trusted firm in blood technology.
What is a progressive society to you?
Is it AI? (Artificial Intelligence)

Biggest and bestest in #technology?

NOOOOO none of these matter as much as treating people with #disabilities, #rarediseases and #cancers at centers lead with empathy and with Dignity. Far too many times I was spoken to in a condescending way and it is a shame for #health professionals to behave this way. some of them just have too much #ego.
Its always a numbers game in America…that is a huge problem when it comes to #healthcare - is that everything is numbers game. WE HAVE TO STOP THIS. It is about human life!!! When the number of Thalassemia persons are only at 1,100 in the U.S. we are not receiving the freshest of #blood the way our #European patients are. In #England, #Italy #Greece #Cyprus and other nations receive blood that is 3-12 days old. #FDA approved for the U.S.A. is 42 days old.

  • Englands golden generation... How did this team never win an international trophy?

The team literally had everything it needed to succeed. You could argue that they was unlucky in some tournaments, some dodgy refereeing decisions and some dodgy penalties. But the bottom line is this team seriously underacheived.

Since alot of these players retired, they have discussed what the atmosphere was like on England duty, it didn't sound positive. Because each of these player came from rival teams where the hated ran deep, it seemed like they carried over to the England camp.

With the current squad you dont get the sense like they are rivals, it's like they are all best pals and that shows on the pitch. For an international team to be successful they need to be a well oiled machine who are willing to above and beyond for each other like the recent Portugal team that won the Euros or the France side that won the World cup. You get a sence of camaraderie with England team and its showing again and again in the results of recent, the example of this was the comeback against Croatia, the 3-2 against Spain and the penalty shootout against Colombia.

It was such a shame that the golden generation didn't amount to anything as a team but I think Harry's young lions really do stand a chance of ending all these years of hurt.

Do you agree?
Can this current England challenge for trophies?

  • Once upon a time in a land far away the royals of the pleadies, NORWAY and France meet the royals of England, Russia, Egypt and the line of George Washington.... this is the story where a few crowns unite for peace and helping guide the world into a better understanding of eachother and a safe happy world for generations to come ;-)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
