Today is #worldhappinessday 💙 Because I have known pain, I value joy. It took a lot of work and self-reflection to realize how beautiful this life we live in is. I hope you’re feeling happy today, but if you’re not, don’t be too hard on yourself–it too shall pass.
Exuma vibes ☀️🌴💙🇧🇸
My IG feed is all over the place lately. People usually prefer to post chronologically or in real time, but I never really plan ahead & usually pick what picture I’m going to share based on what mood I’m in that day & what I think will look pretty next. 💕 Today I’m feeling happy Bahamas island vibes.💦✌🏼Who knows what mood I’ll be in next? ATX? Dominican Republic? European throwback? 🤷🏼♀️ Your guess is as good as mine! 🗺 ⋯⋯
I know this isn’t the usual way to do things on insta, but I also don’t really care because it’s my feed and my art, and there are no rules!! 🙌🏼🌈🖼 Do you prefer when people post in real time, or do you not care?

As we celebrate Sandals Foundation 10th Anniversary with many praises for our valued partners, guests, volunteers and all who contributed to the success of the Foundation; I would like to throw back a bit to express gratitude to those who initiated the concept,
and who had the vision of where we are today.
Our beloved Chairman, Mr. Gordon 'Butch' Stewart for mandating his companies since inception (over 3 decades) to give-back to our local communities. This was apart of our SOPs.
Deputy Chairman, Mr Adam Stewart for his vision to create a brighter future for the Caribbean and formed the Sandals Foundation 10 years ago .
I can't thank you both enough for giving me and many other volunteers with the passion to give-back to those in need. The happiness and joy it brings us to give on behalf of the Foundation is Priceless!!! Thank you gentlemen for giving us the support, resources and opportunities to do what we love best ...inspiring hope and making a difference in the lives of many through the Sandals Foundation.
The many big happy smiles and big hugs we constantly receive money can't buy....
Thanks again to the Stewart's Family and the Sandals Foundation and here's to another 10 years and counting of inspiring hope and making a difference in the Caribbean.

This week we added the @islandschocolate 80% with Nibs bar to our collection. Ever since we sampled this chocolate last year we have been yearning for more bars. It's some of the best chocolate we've ever tasted. You will not believe that the cacao content is 80% - it tastes more like 60% or a dark milk, such is the quality and natural sweetness of the beans. 🌱
Islands Chocolate is the sister company of @svgcocoa. Together they make beautiful seed-to-bar chocolate on the island of St Vincent in the Caribbean. 🌎
I feel like our day just kept getting better and better! We swam with dolphins, swam the Maya River, played on the beach, plus so much more. But toward the end of our day, we explored the villages and the giant aviary during an on-again-off-again storm. There were rainbows and such beautiful colors in the sky, making the brilliant greens and blues even more warm and brilliant. The rain was rejuvenating. The aviary was huge, like four to five stories tall, with cascading waterfalls, and colorful tropical birds. We had to be in our seats for Xcaret’s Espectacular Show by 7:00pm, so we raced through the rain to go change (in the bathroom/changing rooms in the middle of the jungle-haven’t documented those yet), and made it to the show which really was spectacular!! We laughed, we cheered, I cried. It started out with his history of the Maya. We watched an Olaball and Fireball match and the folk dances from the time. It was fascinating! Then the show went on to show the arrival of the Spanish and their influence on Mexico, namely the Yucatán, and then we saw folk dances and traditions from every region of Mexico. The show was two hours, and not a minute too long. I loved it! It reminded me a lot of HÁ at the Polynesian Cultural Center. I will never forget this day that Chasten and I spent together at one of the most breathtaking places. It wasn’t Disney, but it was every bit as magical! @xcaretpark#xcaret#rivieramaya#cancun#mexico#xcaretpark#flamingo#tropical#jungle#xcaretmexico#maya#palmtrees#cenote#sunshine#beach#oceanfront#rainbow#destinations#sun#caribbean#coast#blonde#ocean#paradise#storm#rain#sea#caribbeansea#yucatan#yucatanpeninsula#wifelife
