Changing your running style, gait or form cab yield tremendous results. We are so used to the no-pain-no-gain mentality in sports that we often overlook the 'easy' (as in less taxing on the body) training sessions that can make so much difference for your overall running, health and PB's. Much more than adding one more interval set onto your workout load. Just because something does not feel like hard work, doesn't mean it makes you faster. Form drills, biomechanical analysis, stretching/foam rolling all have major impacts on your run. Train wisely and focis on the areas that improve your running the most. Then, work hard to tax the body to it's max.
