I’ll be the first to admit that some days I wake up and feel incredibly small, like a small drop in the ocean. I ask myself what do I have to give that the world hasn’t already seen? What can I do that hasn’t already been done? Have you ever gone down the self-doubt hole, or played the comparison game? Whenever I catch myself feeling insignificant and small, I remind myself that the world hasn’t seen all of ME. Being ME is what the world needs, because there is no other ME! And that’s my superpower! You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop!

Also, peep my 8-inch scar on my arm. In a world of retouched bodies, I wanted to make sure not to Photoshop my scar out of this image. I have had friends suggest getting a cool tattoo to cover up my scar, but I absolutely don’t want to! It would feel like I’m trying to cover up something shameful. At one point I truly hated my scar, but now I gain strength from it. It reminds me to be thankful for my body every single day for it’s resilience and strength. And it reminds me that I am strong!
