We're wondering where he will take them for the weekend? Our new ZEISS ambassador @jan_smidphotography takes his six companions on all his expeditions. "Without this set, I can't even imagine working anymore. Once you lay your hands on one of these lenses, you immediately start figuring out how to get one for yourself. With complete confidence in my new set of lenses, I sold my old lenses and the only thing I regret is that I did not find ZEISS lenses much earlier. The next lens to find its way into my bag will be the ZEISS Milvus 1.4/25," says Jan.

More than 50 years ago, an image of the Earth from above was still a true novelty. The first attempts to take pictures from space produced only modest results. Space photography was still in its infancy when factory-issue camera with a ZEISS Planar 2.8/80 lens was taken into orbit for the first time to better study and document our planet. The result: the first images of space captured with a ZEISS lens 🚀 📸 Source: NASA

Do you remember your first encounter with a ZEISS camera lens? @jan_smidphotography does. He was not really into our lenses until he first experienced them in fall 2017. After a little talk at our booth at Fotoexpo in Prague, Jan decided to give it a try and took one of our lenses on his next expedition. Two years, later the multi-awarded landscape photographer just became our first Czech ZEISS brand ambassador. Welcome to the family! On LENSPIRE (link in bio), Jan tells you why our lenses became his permanent companions.

Initially, ZEISS Ambassador @naive_studio wanted to test out some new lighting ideas. Then, however, he decided to go further into this with booking a model, sourcing a cool location and shooting a moody video. Are you curious about the result? Check out the video on vimeo (link in bio).

What does "mastering photography" mean to you? A photo, especially one we choose to publish and share, is only the tip of the iceberg. It reflects the final product of a much more complex process that is photography. When it comes to multi-awarded photographer @jiggiealejandrino, mastering photography is illustrated by three factors (link in bio).

Through his photographs, Cambodian ZEISS Ambassador La Mo aims to carry the culture of his homeland into the world. Bon Om Touk, the Cambodian Water Festival, attracts several million people each year. The three-day festival marks the end of the country's rainy season and commemorates the change in flow of the Tonle Sap River. Every year in November, visitors from all over the country travel to Phnom Penh to attend concerts and watch the traditional boat races along the Sisowath Quay.

When it comes to shooting adventurous trips, choosing the right gear can be challenging. @petr_kubik_cz went on a charity adventure trip to Little Tibet for two weeks. He had to put all the gear into one backpack - clothes and sleeping bag included. So what set-up did he choose? Check out LENSPIRE (link in bio) to find out more.

Abandoned places have their very own magic. ZEISS Ambassador @naive_studio found the perfect location for a videography shoot in a closed mine. The bare walls reflect coldness and create an exciting atmosphere during the fashion shoot. Are you curious about the result? Check out the video on vimeo (link in bio).
